Dr. Omar Mohamed Al-Ansari is the President of Qatar University, where he has held numerous leadership roles over more than 25 years, including Vice President for Student Affairs and Vice President for Academic Affairs. A Qatar University graduate, he earned his master’s and PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas. He has led major initiatives in research, innovation, and digital transformation, aligning the university’s vision with Qatar National Vision 2030 and supporting projects such as FIFA World Cup 2022 and space research. Dr. Al-Ansari continues to advance the university’s global standing through strategic partnerships, academic excellence, and impactful research.
